Therese’s New Year’s Message for 2011: Power & Peace of Mind

Open EyesIsn’t Power and Peace of Mind what we all want? And a way to speak your peace?

2011 rocked in with a powerful news shock, underlining the need for peace and power in communication, both public and personal. After spending much of my life as a Broadcast News Anchor with terrorism, I’ve devoted the last ten years to the antidote. The good news is, these are the very real gifts available to us in 2011: Power and Peace of Mind. Unfortunately, Peace of Mind doesn’t come by escaping life’s problems.

There’s no nirvana on a mountaintop – there is no escape – the only way out is through.

But by facing life eyes wide open, not holding the feelings at arms’ length, and finding the words to speak your peace, the energy moves you to a new place. Open your eyes, and feel this new place:

In our presentations and workshops on both ‘Peace of Mind’ , and ‘Bullying in the Workplace: Power and Perception’ (developed in concert with Rutgers ) you will find Power and Peace of Mind both come by tuning into your Voice, through  inner listening, and developing your voice, thru outer expression. (see the movie, ‘The King’s Speech’ for an enlightening true story!) You may find new techniques, like meditation in the moment, and practical new gifts you weren’t expecting, like the appropriate use of anger, when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em, bridge-building, the value of grieving and forgiving, and the ways to reconciliation. When you clear the channel, you can feel a new kind of positive energy. People will say, ‘There’s something about Mary’ or ‘There’s something about Bob.’ It’s called, Presence. This positive energy begins by tuning into your Voice, and finding the right words to say. ChannelTherese is here to help you find faith in your Voice, and a friend to listen.

My experience in broadcasting, energy work, as a vocalist, and as a certified intuitive healer is the underpinning of the programs for both personal and professional development. Experience the peace and power, and one more gift, for 2011: In the grand Chicago tradition of Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, the eternal optimist – the great first baseman used to make his yearly pronouncements – ‘Cubs will be great in ’68!’ ‘Things will be fine in ’69!’

So with our eternal native-Chicagoan optimism, expect  ‘A Little Bit of Heaven in 2011.’
